Technical Description

Augmented reality large-scale interactive art installation for up to five players. The interaction area is to the front of the screen. Participants move around in front of a screen-mounted camera and are tracked via markers mounted on headpieces. Sound files play in response to the users’ movement in 3D sound. 3D models replace the headpiece markers onscreen. Handheld markers can be used to manipulate images on screen. There are seven scenes and thirty-five 3D models, some of which animate in response to the users movement. The whole series of scenes is cyclic.
